Amir Khan comes to America to expand fan base (AP)

The first live fight Paulie Malignaggi attended was Naseem Hamed against Kevin Kelley at Madison Square Garden in 1997. He was rooting for Kelley, a fellow New Yorker, but came away a fan of the victorious Brit. Amir Khan hopes to convert many modern-day Paulies in his U.S. debut by, well, defeating hometown favorite Malignaggi.
